Notting Hill Carnival photos from last year show why you really can't miss it if you live in London

It's nearly that time of year again with only one more week to wait until Notting Hill Carnival lights up the streets of West London for a weekend with music dancing and an explosion of colour.

Held every year on the August bank holiday since all the way back in 1966, carnival has become one of the most famous events held in London and something people flock from all over the country to be a part of.

Celebrating everything to do with Caribbean culture whether its arts like music, craft and dance to heritage and history, the Notting Hill Carnival is something you really can't miss.
