Christmas is the ideal time to plop yourself down in front of the TV with a big box of Celebrations and watch all the old films and TV shows you can. Many of us will be feeling nostalgic this time of year and watching back the Only Fools And Horses Christmas specials.
The Only Fools and Horses special episodes are the epitome of Christmas for die-hard fans of the BBC sitcom. Along with seven series of the iconic show, creator John Sullivan graced our television screens with an extra 16 episodes to mark the festive period throughout the 80s, 90s, and 00s.
The first special episode was called Christmas Crackers and aired back on December 28, 1981. Yes, it really has been 42 years!
The last ever Only Fools and Horses installment, Sleepless in Peckham, aired on Christmas Day 2003 as we said goodbye to the Trotter family. But we'll never forget the classic scenes from the specials including when Del Boy and Rodney dressed up as Batman and Robin in Heroes and Villains to attend a wake.

Or when the whole Peckham gang went on a beano to Margate for the Jolly Boys' Outing and got stranded thanks to their coach blowing up and the bank holiday weekend train service!
