A murder investigation is under way after a double stabbing in east London in which one man died and another is being treated in hospital.

The Met Police said it was trying to find the family of a man in his 20s or 30s who was killed in the incident in Shadwell on 7 April.

The second man, in his 50s, is not believed to have life-threatening injuries.

Detectives said: "We are working to establish the circumstances surrounding this tragic death," and appealed for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from about 16:00 BST on Watney Street to contact them.
