M&S staff treated for carbon monoxide poisoning
Eleven people have been treated in hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning in south-east London.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus carried out a sweep of the Marks & Spencer building on Gallions Road, Charlton, and found elevated readings of the gas.
Paramedics, incident response officers and a hazardous area response team treated about 35 members of staff who had left the building before emergency services arrived.
No customers were affected and none of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening.
The LFB said crews ventilated the store and the incident, which was first called in at about 08:30 GMT, was over for firefighters by 13:50.
