A man has been charged with murdering a 15-year-old boy who was stabbed to death in a north London street.

Paramedics treated Adam Henry at the scene for stab wounds on Westbourne Road, Islington on 9 December, but he later died in hospital.

Tsidi Winion, 20, from Camden, has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon, the Metropolitan Police said.

He is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on 16 December.

In a previous statement, Adam's family described him as a "loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, friend" and said they will "never recover from the loss and not having him in our lives".

"He had many interests and was always there with a smile and cheeky sense of humour. He was good-natured and loyal."
