Two jailed for 'senseless' death of man in pub row

Two men have been jailed after a man was killed in an assault outside a Wetherspoon pub in Lewisham, south-east London.
Charlie Prodromou, 63, was attacked following a disturbance at the Watch House on Lewisham High Street at about 20:30 GMT on 1 March.
He was treated at the scene but Mr Prodromou later died in hospital.
Paul Tallant, 43, from Eltham, was jailed for 10 years and six months for manslaughter, and Danny Donovan, 40, from Southwark, was jailed for two years and two months for affray and possession of a knife.

The Met Police said following a dispute with pub staff Tallant punched Mr Prodromou twice in the head, causing him to fall to the ground.
He was arrested moments later.
Donovan was found holding a knife during the incident and pleaded guilty to the charges.
Det Ch Insp Craig Magee, from the Met, said the force's thoughts "remained with Charlie Prodromou's loving family and friends, who have shown so much strength over the last few months".
He added: "Charlie's death was a senseless loss of life and he is missed by many. He was a real family man, and leaves behind three children and five grandchildren."
